K9 Sjors apprehends a fleeing subject after vehicle pursuit in Bledsoe.

On Saturday night June 3rd Deputy Jeremy Jones was on patrol in the Bledsoe community when he attempted to execute a traffic stop. The vehicle immediately began to flee. After coming to a stop a male subject fled on foot as Deputy Jones quickly detained a female subject. Deputy Caleb Carmical and K9 Sjors arrived on scene to assist and Sjors began a track for the fleeing male subject. Sjors tracked for nearly half a mile and located the male subject attempting to hide in the woods. Both occupants of the vehicle had active warrants.

Ronald Williams was arrested and charged with Fleeing or Evading the Police 1st Degree (motor vehicle), Fleeing or Evading the Police 2nd Degree (on foot), Reckless driving, numerous traffic violations and 3 bench warrants.

Angel Foley was arrested on a bench warrant.

In other activity on Saturday night:

Deputy Austin Reynolds made contact with a subject walking in the roadway while on patrol in Coxton. The female subject appeared intoxicated and attempted to walk away from Deputy Reynolds. The subject became combative and resisted as Deputy Reynolds placed her under arrest.

Melinda Holbrook was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication and Resisting Arrest.

Deputies were conducting a drug trafficking investigation on Hwy 2425 off from KY Hwy 72 when they made contact with a male subject. During investigation it was determined that the male subject had an active warrant.

Wilburn Madon was arrested by Deputy Austin Reynolds on an active child support warrant.

Deputy Austin Reynolds and Evarts PD Asst. Chief Bryan Napier were observing traffic in the Evarts community when a traffic stop was executed. Through investigation it was determined both occupants had active warrants. Deputy Reynolds arrested Zack Huff on 2 child support warrants. Evarts PD arrested Courtney Gooden on a bench warrant.
